Adrian Newey to replace Andy Cowell as Aston Martin’s team principal, it has been confirmed.
Share:Formula One 2025 season is coming to an end and ahead of Qatar GP it has been confirmed that Adrian Newey will be replacing Andy Cowell as Aston Martin’s team principal.
The statement from Aston Martin on Twitter read: “Adrian Newey will take on the role of Team Principal from 2026 and will be guiding the technical team, including the trackside operations of the car.”
In March, Newey joined Aston Martin from Red Bull, after spending 18 years with the team. He will now combine the job with the managing technical partner role.
