Formula 1 champion in 1980, Alan Jones has shared his concerns about the future prospects of Daniel Ricciardo in McLaren.
Share:“At the moment, Ricciardo’s future at McLaren is questionable. Unless he can make significant improvements, acting quickly and intelligently, I don’t think he’s likely to stay there for long.
Daniel is a good driver and a great guy. However, as we all know, good guys don’t usually succeed, especially in Formula 1. The more of an asshole you are, the better the results – and we are now apparently proof of that.
Contractual obligations don’t mean much in F1 either. But anyway, if the situation does not change, I personally do not doubt that they will activate any of the options” – said Jones.
