Antonio Conte says one Tottenham player is “vital for every manager”

Spurs are set to face Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Ahead of the clash, Conte has met the media to share the latest team news.

Davies has established himself as one of the key players in the squad under various managers. He already made more than 300 appearances at the North London side.

In the pre-match press conference, Conte asked about Davies’ role in the squad and what makes him a special player. The manager claimed that the 29-year-old is a ‘reliable player’.

“These type of players are vital for every manager. Ben is a player that is showing always a great reliability and he’s a player that’s always focused. He always has the right desire,” he said, via Football London.
