Share:In the upcoming summer transfer window, Tottenham and Arsenal could be set for a heated battle off the pitch for the coveted signature of Borussia Dortmund’s midfield maestro, Julian Brandt.
The Gunners have previously expressed interest in the German international, but Tottenham’s recent interest has added fuel to the fire, as both North London rivals vie for the creative midfielder.
Brandt, who moved to Dortmund from fellow Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, has been a consistent performer for his current club. However, his minutes on the pitch have dwindled in the first few months of the 2022/23 season, despite managing four goals and two assists in the league prior to the World Cup break.
According to the reliable football journalist Fabrizio Romano in his recent column , the Gunners have confirmed their interest in the talented midfielder, and should he join the club, he could prove to be a worthy competitor for Martin Odeegard.
The Norwegian playmaker has been a standout performer for Arsenal this season, and the addition of Brandt would add much-needed depth to their midfield ranks.
As the summer transfer window approaches, it remains to be seen which club will emerge victorious in the race for Julian Brandt’s signature.
However, one thing is for certain: the battle between Tottenham and Arsenal is sure to be an enthralling spectacle for football fans around the world.
