Arsenal may make a bid for Barcelona winger Raphinha, who is considered for sale due to Barcelona’s financial struggles. Arsenal previously showed interest in him.
Share:In recent developments, Football Insider sources reveal that Arsenal Football Club is reportedly considering making a bid for Barcelona’s Brazilian winger, Raphinha, in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Gunners have reportedly been long-term admirers of the 26-year-old, and are aware of the possibility of him being put up for sale at the end of the current season.
The financial struggles of La Liga giants, Barcelona, continue to persist, and their board has identified Raphinha as one of the players that could be sold to raise funds. Last summer, when Raphinha departed from Leeds United, Arsenal expressed their interest in signing him, but were unable to secure his signature as Barcelona beat them to it.
As Arsenal seeks to strengthen their squad for the next season, Raphinha could be a viable option for them. With his proven skill and experience, he could potentially bring a much-needed boost to Arsenal’s attack.
It remains to be seen, however, if Arsenal will be able to secure his transfer, given the competition they could face from other interested clubs.
