Arsenal is closely monitoring the progress of Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu, with the possibility of making a move in the upcoming transfer window.
Share:Arsenal’s interest in Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu has been a topic of discussion in recent football circles, according to insights from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu. Kadioglu, who made the move to Fenerbahce in 2018, has become a prominent figure for the Yellow Canaries, playing a pivotal role in their Turkish Cup triumph last season.
The Turkish star’s outstanding performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with Arsenal reportedly keeping a close watch on his development. Sabuncuoglu took to Twitter to reveal that Arsenal has been diligently tracking Kadioglu’s progress, even dispatching scouts to closely assess his performance against Trabzonspor in their recent match.

These scouts have apparently been left impressed by Kadioglu’s skill set, leading them to submit a positive report about the player to Arsenal’s recruitment team. This has fueled speculation that the North London club might make a concrete move to secure his services in the upcoming transfer window.
Kadioglu, who can operate in multiple defensive roles, is valued at approximately £15 million by Transfermarkt and still has over two and a half years left on his current contract with Fenerbahce. Given this, Fenerbahce is under no pressure to part ways with their star player, and Arsenal may need to make a substantial financial offer if they intend to pursue Kadioglu in the upcoming year.
Kadioglu’s versatility, pace, ability to build up play from the back, goal-scoring contributions, playmaking skills, and defensive prowess make him an attractive prospect.
