According to a report from Football Insider , the Gunners are currently leading the charge in the pursuit of the young prodigy. Scottish giants, Celtics, however, are not far behind in their interest for the rising starlet.
With both clubs regularly scouting James, it will be interesting to see who will win the race and agree on a fee with Colchester.
James is considered a promising talent with a bright future ahead of him, making him a solid investment for either club. It is unlikely that he will immediately join the first-team squad of Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta. Instead, the teenage defender is expected to join the youth team to continue his development.
Arsenal currently boasts an impressive roster of young prospects, and James could potentially add further excitement to their pool of talent.
