Share:Arsenal’s Jurrien Timber, the talented defender, has recently offered Gunners fans a glimmer of hope as he was spotted walking unaided for the first time since his serious knee injury.
This heartening development unfolded as Timber joined his teammates for the club’s customary squad photocall, providing a welcomed boost to both the team and their supporters.
During this presentation of Arsenal’s complete Premier League squad, which included the Community Shield and their beloved dog ‘Win,’ Timber, a notable summer signing, took his place. This appearance marked a significant milestone in his journey to recovery, considering that less than three weeks ago, he relied on crutches due to a devastating ACL injury suffered during his debut in the season opener against Nottingham Forest.
The £34 million summer acquisition underwent surgery promptly after the injury, and while his path to full recovery is still long, this sight of him walking unassisted serves as a positive sign for Arsenal’s aspirations in the upcoming season.
