It is believed that the Gunners are ready to submit a renewed offer, reminiscent of the £75 million package that was firmly rebuffed by the Seagulls during the January transfer window.

Previously adamant about retaining the services of their rising star, Brighton appears to have softened their stance and is now open to engaging in negotiations, owing to a pledge made to Caicedo.
During the 2022-23 campaign, manager Roberto De Zerbi and the Albion board collaborated effectively, successfully convincing the Ecuadorian to commit to the club for the remainder of the season. Consequently, Caicedo went on to sign a new contract, solidifying his bond with the Seagulls.
This strategic maneuver ultimately paid dividends for Brighton, as they remarkably clinched a top-six finish, securing Europa League qualification for the first time in their illustrious 122-year history. Nevertheless, as part of their agreement with the highly rated midfielder, the club is prepared to entertain substantial offers during the upcoming summer transfer window.
With the promise of European football on the horizon, Arsenal’s renewed interest in Caicedo comes as no surprise. The Gunners are looking to bolster their midfield options as they aim to compete at the highest level once again. It remains to be seen whether their latest bid will tempt Brighton into parting ways with their prized asset, but it is clear that discussions will be held in earnest.
