The Gunners are reportedly eyeing Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong as a potential January addition.

Currently occupying the fourth position, fans are hopeful for reinforcements this month, although financial constraints might delay a high-profile signing until summer.
While many supporters prefer a new striker, the reported lack of funds suggests that a significant deal might be postponed. Recent rumors indicate Arsenal’s focus on strengthening the full-back position, with Jeremie Frimpong emerging as a target.
According to German outlet BILD, the Gunners are actively pursuing the right-back, recognizing his impressive performances for Bayer Leverkusen over the past seasons.
Fabrizio Romano’s reports suggest that the 23-year-old has a €40 million release clause in his contract, slated to become active in the summer. However, Leverkusen has shown no inclination to sell the player at this time.

Despite Mikel Arteta signing Jurrien Timber last year to address defensive concerns, the Dutch defender suffered an ACL injury in his debut game, ruling him out for the entire season.
Frimpong, known for his attacking prowess from the full-back position, possesses qualities that could complement the defensive attributes of Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Arsenal seems keen on bolstering their squad, strategically eyeing potential areas for improvement, with the talented Frimpong at the forefront of their considerations.
