Since his arrival from Real Madrid in 2021, Odegaard has flourished under the tutelage of manager Mikel Arteta. His growth has seen him transform into one of the most highly-regarded midfield talents in the fiercely competitive Premier League.
Notably, Odegaard was entrusted with the captain’s armband ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, with the responsibility of guiding a youthful Arsenal squad in their quest for Premier League glory. The club came tantalizingly close to achieving that goal in the previous season, with Odegaard playing an instrumental role in their commendable performance.
While the specifics of Odegaard’s extended contract remain undisclosed, his current deal runs until 2025. Arsenal faithful can only hope that this new agreement will secure his services for an extensive duration, given the remarkable progress he has made within Arteta’s squad. The North London club is undoubtedly eager to build on their recent successes with Odegaard leading the charge.
