Despite a slow start to his English football journey, Tomiyasu has now established himself as a player deserving of a fresh contract with the North London giants.
According to reports, Arsenal has made an offer to Tomiyasu, whose current contract is set to expire in 2025. However, the club holds the option to extend it by an additional year. Although the situation may not be deemed urgent with the existing extension option, securing a new deal would undoubtedly be a positive development for Arsenal.
This news is likely to be well-received by Arsenal fans, especially considering the recent success in persuading other key players like Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and William Saliba to commit to contract extensions in recent months.
Tomiyasu showcased his impact on the pitch in Arsenal’s convincing 6-0 victory against RC Lens in the UEFA Champions League, contributing with two crucial assists.
