The 26-year-old midfielder has expressed his willingness to don the renowned Blaugrana jersey and is now eagerly awaiting the Catalan club’s official bid to Wolverhampton Wanderers. With a current market value estimated at around €40 million, Neves seems poised to embark on a new chapter at Camp Nou.
Hailing from FC Porto, Ruben Neves has shown immense growth since his arrival at Wolverhampton Wanderers. His remarkable performances in the Premier League have solidified his reputation as one of the top midfielders in the competition, despite his team’s inconsistent results.
Having amassed over 250 appearances for the Midlands club, Neves has witnessed his market value soar to €40 million. However, his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers is set to expire in just over a year, making him an enticing prospect for several high-profile clubs, including Barcelona.
Neves has long been on Barcelona’s radar, and the Catalans have contemplated acquiring his services from Wolverhampton Wanderers on multiple occasions in the past. However, the financial constraints plaguing the Spanish giants prevented them from launching a full-fledged pursuit of the talented Portuguese midfielder.
