Share:Chelsea Football Club is displaying great determination in finalizing the acquisition of Moises Caicedo. The Blues are poised to make significant progress on the deal once they secure suitable outgoing transfers, as confirmed by reliable sources.
The highly-talented Ecuadorian international has shown a strong inclination towards accepting Chelsea’s contract offer, effectively giving the club the green light for what is anticipated to be a lucrative move, exceeding the £80 million mark.
With preparations well underway, an official bid is imminent from the West London side. This strategic move is part of Chelsea’s wider plan to free up squad space and enhance financial flexibility within the confines of Financial Fair Play regulations, thereby facilitating potential incoming transfers.
While Chelsea remains focused on securing the services of the promising 21-year-old, it is worth noting that other Premier League rivals are closely monitoring the situation from a distance.
Arsenal, who have long held an interest in Caicedo, seem to have shifted their attention towards other targets, specifically Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia. The latter, in particular, appears to be edging closer to joining Mikel Arteta’s squad for the upcoming season.
