The economic aspect of the deal looms large, with Chelsea tabling a lucrative £15 million offer in exchange for Petrovic’s services. Ongoing discussions between Chelsea and Petrovic’s current club aim to pave the way for a notable summer transfer.

This tactical maneuver has underscored Chelsea’s proactive approach in reshaping their goalkeeping roster.
