Marc Cucurella is keen on departing from the club in January and has engaged in discussions with the new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, to convey his decision.
Share:In a recent development reported by The Sun, it appears that Marc Cucurella is eyeing a January exit from his current club. The versatile player has reportedly engaged in discussions with the newly appointed manager, Mauricio Pochettino, to convey his intentions.
This season has seen Cucurella’s stature within the squad diminish significantly, making it increasingly unlikely that the club will stand in the way of his impending transfer. At 25 years of age, Cucurella is entering a crucial phase in his career, and finding a club where he can secure a consistent spot in the starting lineup has become paramount.

Regrettably for Cucurella, when all key players are available at Stamford Bridge, he finds himself on the periphery of the starting XI. This, coupled with Chelsea’s less-than-ideal performance in the early stages of the season and their absence from European competitions, has fostered an environment where players like Cucurella are eager to explore new opportunities.
The January transfer window may indeed see Cucurella bidding farewell to Chelsea, seeking a fresh start elsewhere to reignite his career and secure the regular first-team football he desires.
