Declan Rice shares a lengthy message on Instagram following England defeat in EURO 2024 final.
The Three Lions were defeated with a 2-1 score as Cole Palmer scored the only goal for Gareth Southgate’s side.
It was announced today that Southgate won’t continue as England manager.
“We win together, we lose together. It hurts so much to come up short again, but I’m so proud to be part of this unbelievable group. Just want to say a massive thank you the whole country for your amazing support throughout, it has been incredible to see,” wrote Rice.
“Nothing comes close to representing England at a major tournament and I’m certain we are on the right path to be successful again. Time to rest, recover and get ready next season. See you all soon. Dec ❤️”
