Eddie Howe may consider recruiting Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as a late loan option before the upcoming transfer window closes.

In light of Kalvin Phillips’ imminent move to West Ham from Manchester City, attention has shifted to Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as a viable option for Newcastle.
According to reports, the Danish midfielder’s name has been quietly circulating within the club, suggesting a possible late loan move.
The 28-year-old Hojbjerg has found himself on the periphery of the Tottenham squad, with stiff competition from the likes of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison, and Pape Matar Sarr for a spot in Ange Postecoglou’s midfield trio. This situation has prompted speculation about his availability for a loan move, providing Newcastle with an opportunity to strengthen their midfield options.
While Hojbjerg has been linked with potential moves to Serie A, including reported interest from Juventus, the player’s situation at Tottenham, coupled with the desire to create roster space after a busy January window, could make him an appealing option for Newcastle.
As the transfer window deadline approaches, Eddie Howe and Newcastle United’s hierarchy will be working diligently to secure the services of Hojbjerg, aiming to fortify their midfield and improve their standings in the Premier League.
