Erik Ten Hag is reportedly extremely frustrated with the prolonged takeover saga at Manchester United, according to a recent report from The Sun.
Share:In a recent development, it has been reported that Erik ten Hag, the esteemed manager of Manchester United, has been left considerably vexed by the club’s protracted takeover saga.
Sources indicate that the Dutch tactician is deeply dissatisfied with how the Glazer family’s prolonged negotiations to sell the club have adversely impacted his ability to bolster the squad with new signings.
Ten Hag, who places great importance on acquiring a world-class striker, has expressed his desire for an additional central midfielder to strengthen his team. Among his top targets is West Ham United’s talented midfielder, Declan Rice. However, the competition for Rice’s signature, with both Arsenal and Manchester City vying for the English international, has hindered Ten Hag’s pursuit. As the outcome of the offers presented by Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe to purchase the club remains uncertain, Ten Hag finds himself in a holding pattern, unable to progress on potential transfers.
While Manchester United’s manager had identified Napoli’s promising center-back, Kim Min-jae, as another end-of-season target, it appears that the club is on the verge of missing out on his services. Bayern Munich, the German giants, are reportedly closing in on securing the signing of the highly sought-after South Korean defender.
