Erik Ten Hag is reportedly considering a January move for Ajax striker Brian Brobbey, with Manchester United also contemplating a transfer within the next two windows.
Share:In the midst of Manchester United’s current struggles in the league, currently positioned 7th with 32 points, there are reports emerging about Erik Ten Hag’s interest in Ajax striker Brian Brobbey for a potential January move.
Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg suggests that Manchester United is actively considering acquiring the 21-year-old striker in the upcoming transfer windows.

Despite being a familiar name on the Red Devils’ shortlist, Brobbey has maintained his allegiance to Ajax until now, emerging as one of Eredivisie’s most formidable attackers with an impressive record of 13 goals in 25 games across all competitions.
United’s pressing need for additional firepower upfront is well-documented, particularly with Anthony Martial set to depart on a free transfer at the end of the season, and summer signing Rasmus Hojlund still acclimating to English football.
The potential move, however, raises questions about the strategic approach for Ten Hag. Opting for another Ajax player may be a decision fraught with uncertainties, and the outcome of such a move remains to be seen.
