Share:Everton have reportedly joined the hunt to secure the coveted signature of Arsenal’s burgeoning talent Folarin Balogun during the summer transfer window.
According to reports , the Toffees are in the market for a new striker and are poised to challenge Brentford, Wolves, and Crystal Palace for the highly sought-after 21-year-old’s services.
As per sources, Balogun is not expected to feature for Arsenal in the upcoming season unless Mikel Arteta can provide him with concrete guarantees about his playing time. The talented forward has been in exceptional form during his loan spell with Reims this term and is keen on securing regular game time at The Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are eager to retain Balogun’s services and may offer him an improved contract to entice him to stay and fight for his spot.
With Everton languishing in 17th position in the league standings, the prospect of acquiring the talented youngster may provide them with a glimmer of hope in their bid to avoid relegation.
