The Hammers’ midfielder has been heavily linked with the move away from the London side for the summer transfer window, with Arsenal showing huge interest in him.
According to Jacobs, David Moyes’ side are set to lose their captain in the ongoing transfer window.
Arsenal are keen on completing a quick deal for the player, aiming to secure his services for a fee below £100 million.
The plan has been in motion since before the Europa Conference League final, with the intention to finalize the transfer this week, the journalist has added.
