According to an exclusive report from Football Transfers , Brighton firmly believes that a move for Caicedo to join Arsenal is on the horizon.
The Gunners had reportedly reached a personal agreement with the highly-rated Ecuadorian midfielder back in January, and it appears that the terms of that proposal remain unchanged.
Brighton is holding out for a substantial fee of around £75 million for the talented midfielder, and it is believed that Arsenal’s decision-makers, Edu and Mikel Arteta, are open to meeting these demands.
Caicedo’s potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium has generated substantial interest, with Arsenal keen to bolster their midfield options. The talented 19-year-old, who has showcased his skills at both club and international levels, is seen as a promising prospect for the North London club.
The negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, and while the deal is not yet finalized, Brighton remains optimistic that Arsenal will meet their valuation for Caicedo, paving the way for a notable transfer ahead of the upcoming season.
