Sources close to the matter have revealed to ESPN that Chelsea is willing to part ways with the talented United States forward for a reported fee of £20 million during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite Chelsea’s recent appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as their new head coach on a two-year contract, sources indicate that the Argentine’s arrival will not lead to a reversal of the club’s decision to entertain offers for Pulisic.
This development has piqued the interest of several clubs, with Manchester United, Newcastle, Napoli, AC Milan, and Galatasaray all being approached and informed about the player’s likely transfer fee and salary demands. Pulisic, who currently earns a notable £13 million per year at Chelsea, is certainly an attractive prospect for any potential suitors.
Amidst the competition for his services, it is Juventus who have emerged as the frontrunners in the pursuit of Pulisic’s signature. The Italian giants, however, have displayed some hesitance in matching the wages offered to the American by his current club, Stamford Bridge. This suggests that negotiations between the parties involved may require careful deliberation and compromise to reach a satisfactory agreement.
