Jurgen Klopp is reportedly intensifying efforts in landing Wolverhampton Wanderers Mattheus Nunes as the German tactician is a big admirer of the player.

According to sources close to Football Insider , the Merseyside club remains keen on securing the services of the highly-rated 24-year-old, having already attempted to sign him last summer, only to be beaten by Wolves.
Despite Wolves’ precarious position in the Premier League relegation zone, with the threat of the drop looming large, sources suggest that a substantial offer of £50 million would be enough to convince the club to part ways with the talented Brazilian.
Despite arriving at Wolves for a hefty fee last summer, Nunes has failed to make the desired impact in his debut season in the Premier League, and a move to Liverpool could provide him with a fresh start and a chance to showcase his undoubted ability at one of the biggest clubs in English football.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is known to be an admirer of Nunes and sees him as a potential addition to his midfield ranks. The Reds have endured an injury-ravaged season in the middle of the park, and Nunes’ arrival would provide much-needed depth and quality to a key area of the team.
Liverpool’s pursuit of Nunes is likely to be closely monitored in the coming weeks, with the club looking to bolster their squad ahead of a crucial summer transfer window as they look to challenge for major honours in the coming season.
