Share:Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the highly successful French football club, is rumored to be eyeing Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah as a potential player following the possible departure of Lionel Messi at the end of the current season. The Egyptian football star has garnered the attention of PSG as a possible replacement for the Argentinian player, who is expected to part ways with the team next summer.
The future of Messi at PSG has been uncertain, with his contract set to expire after the current season. Despite receiving numerous renewal offers, the football legend has rejected them all, and recent reports suggest that he is no longer certain about extending his contract with Paris.
According to Le 10 Sport, Messi’s father is planning to meet with PSG’s management in the coming days, but the relationship between the two parties has deteriorated, and trust is reportedly at an all-time low. As a result, PSG is already preparing for a contract with Messi’s successor, in anticipation of the negotiations’ possible failure.
For PSG, Salah would be a highly valuable addition to their already impressive roster of talented players. The prolific scorer has been in excellent form for Liverpool, and his outstanding performances have caught the attention of many top European football clubs. If PSG can secure his services, it would be a significant boost to the team’s attacking prowess and increase their chances of continued success in both domestic and international competitions.
As the transfer window approaches, it remains to be seen whether PSG can lure Salah away from Liverpool, but their interest in him underscores the high regard in which he is held by the football world.
