Kimmich’s future at the Allianz Arena has become a topic of scrutiny in recent weeks, with manager Thomas Tuchel looking to bolster his midfield options.
Liverpool, having admirably replenished their midfield ranks last summer, orchestrated an impressive overhaul with the acquisitions of talents such as Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch. These additions reflect Jurgen Klopp’s strategic efforts in fortifying the midfield at Anfield.
Conversely, Pep Guardiola is keen on injecting fresh vigor into Manchester City’s midfield, seeking new partners for Rodri to enhance the team’s dynamics.
Despite Kimmich’s decade-long association with Bayern, his contract, set to expire in 2025, raises the prospect of a potential free transfer in the upcoming summer window.
With an impressive track record, boasting 369 competitive appearances, 41 goals, and 100 assists for Bayern, coupled with 82 caps for the German national team, Kimmich stands as a proven and enticing prospect for Liverpool’s future endeavors.
