Manchester City Set Sights on Acquisition of Wolves Midfield Sensation

Manchester City appears to be actively exploring avenues to bolster their squad, with their sights set on Wolves’ midfield gem, Matheus Nunes. The Portuguese midfielder has undoubtedly left a good mark on the Premier League, thus emerging as a prime candidate to bolster City’s midfield artillery.

According to  The Athletic’s David Ornstein, he suggest that in addition to Nunes, City’s radar has also locked onto Crystal Palace’s midfield virtuoso, Eberechi Eze. This interest in Eze had previously been reported by The Mail earlier today, thereby showcasing City’s comprehensive approach to enhancing their squad dynamics under the astute guidance of Pep Guardiola.

While it is worth noting that Nunes had also captured the attention of Liverpool in recent times, the Merseyside club has since opted to divert their attention towards alternative targets, leaving the path seemingly clearer for Manchester City’s pursuit.
