According to a report from Sport Witness ,Manchester United’s pursuit of another striker this summer has gained traction following the acquisition of Rasmus Hojlund.
The Danish talent, who made his move to the Premier League outfit earlier in the ongoing transfer window, is yet to make a defining impact on the English game, with an ongoing injury potentially stalling his progress. However, the anticipation within the club is that his influence will be felt post the international hiatus.
In contrast, 20-year-old Marcos Leonardo has been making waves on the field for Brazilian outfit Santos, amassing an impressive tally of 16 goals across various competitions. His burgeoning potential positions him as an intriguing, long-term investment prospect for Manchester United’s forward line.
Evidently, the need for bolstering attacking depth is undeniable within the Manchester United setup, and Marcos Leonardo’s skill set could serve as a valuable addition in this department. With a promising trajectory ahead of him, he appears capable of alleviating some of the goal-scoring responsibilities, sharing the load with the likes of Hojlund and established figure Marcus Rashford.
