Manchester United is reportedly interested in Borussia Dortmund’s Ramy Bensebaini, a 28-year-old Algerian defender.

Sources suggest that Manchester United is actively seeking a left back, contemplating the possibility of parting ways with Sergio Reguilon, currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
Notably, the defensive duo of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia has grappled with injuries throughout the season, prompting Manchester United to explore the option of recruiting Bensebaini.
Bensebaini’s adaptability, capable of playing both as a left back and a left central defender, adds a significant allure for Manchester United. The club, experiencing a season below their usual standards, is keen on reinforcing its squad during the January transfer window. The pursuit of Champions League qualification intensifies the urgency to bolster the team.
Having committed to Borussia Dortmund until the summer of 2027, Bensebaini’s acquisition won’t come without its challenges. Manchester United might need to present a compelling offer to tempt Dortmund into releasing the Algerian international.
