Share:Manchester United has emerged as a potential suitor for the signature of Brazilian international striker, Gabriel Barbosa. The 27-year-old footballer is currently under contract with Flamengo, with his commitment extending until the end of 2024.
It’s speculated that Barbosa could become available for a reasonable price during the January transfer window. According to a reputable report from TEAMtalk, Manchester United is closely monitoring Barbosa as they seek to bolster their attacking lineup in the upcoming January transfer period.
Gabriel Barbosa’s performance this season has been nothing short of impressive, having netted a total of 18 goals across all competitions. This has naturally attracted interest not only from Manchester United but also from other clubs like Newcastle United.
The prospect of a move to the English Premier League at this juncture of his career holds a significant appeal for the talented striker, who feels he is currently at the peak of his abilities and is eager to exhibit his footballing prowess on the grandest stage.
For Barbosa, this potential European venture is a crucial opportunity to prove his mettle, particularly after underwhelming spells with clubs like Inter Milan in the past. He appears determined to leave his mark in European football this time around.
Considering Manchester United’s considerable financial clout, the question remains whether they will make a formal proposal to secure the services of this talented player.
