As per trusted sources, Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany has shed light on United’s interest in the German international.

With Leeds United unfortunately suffering relegation to the Championship, Koch is expected to be available for a cut-price deal this summer. Furthermore, his current contract has only 12 months remaining, which adds to the likelihood of a potential transfer. It comes as no surprise that several Premier League clubs have expressed interest in acquiring his services.
While it is believed that Manchester United views the 26-year-old defender as a contingency option in case their primary transfer targets are not attainable, acquiring Koch at a more affordable price would provide the club with the opportunity to allocate funds to strengthen other areas of the squad.
