Manchester United has emerged as a potential contender in the race to acquire AC Milan forward Rafael Leao.
Share:The Portugal international, once considered a staple at the San Siro, now finds his future with the Rossoneri in a state of uncertainty. Reports suggest that Manchester United might be among the top contenders vying for his signature, as per sources from CalcioMercato.
According to the sources, tensions seem to be brewing between Rafael Leao and AC Milan’s manager, Stefano Pioli. While it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will make a concrete move for the player, it’s worth noting that they recently secured new contracts for both Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho. Both Rashford and Garnacho have been reliable choices on the left wing for United.
This prompts questions about whether Rafael Leao is a priority signing for Manchester United in the near future. While Leao’s potential addition could be a solution to address Marcus Rashford’s recent dip in form, it’s essential to consider other attacking options like Jadon Sancho and Antony, who have also faced their fair share of challenges this season.
