Having recently suffered the blow of Declan Rice’s departure to Arsenal, West Ham now faces the prospect of losing yet another key player as Newcastle eyes Paqueta. The potential transfer could prove to be a significant coup for Newcastle, considering the impact Paqueta showcased during his time at the London Stadium last season, contributing to David Moyes’ side’s triumph in the Europa Conference League.
Sources suggest that Newcastle’s pursuit of Paqueta could come at a considerable cost, with the fee potentially reaching a staggering £75 million. However, the Magpies are keen to reinforce their squad with a player of Paqueta’s caliber, known for his electric performances and creative spark.
Adding a player of Paqueta’s quality would undoubtedly provide a much-needed boost to Newcastle’s midfield, injecting a new dimension of creativity into their gameplay. While the financial aspect may present a challenge, Newcastle appears determined to secure the services of the Brazilian maestro this summer.
