Almiron, a pivotal figure for Newcastle since his arrival, boasts five goals and two assists across all competitions this season. Despite his impactful contributions, the player seems open to a transfer, adding an element of uncertainty to his future with the club.
While the deal is not finalized, the two clubs have reportedly established a basic agreement. The pressing question now is whether they can conclude the transfer before the closure of the January window.
Should Almiron make the move, it undoubtedly leaves a void in Newcastle’s midfield. The Magpies, it seems, may be looking to cash in on the talented midfielder to facilitate incoming reinforcements. The departure of the 29-year-old fan favorite would undoubtedly disappoint the Newcastle faithful, raising questions about how the team will cope with the loss of his creativity, work rate, and goal-scoring prowess.
As the saga unfolds, Newcastle United will need to navigate the challenging task of finding a suitable replacement during the upcoming summer transfer window. Almiron’s potential departure signals a significant shift for the player, who could be embarking on a new adventure in the Saudi Pro League with Al Shabab.
Beyond the sporting implications, a move to Al-Shabab could also present the opportunity for the midfielder to secure a lucrative contract, marking the next chapter in his professional career.
