Despite being plagued by injuries for much of the season, the French midfielder’s return to the team has been a positive development.
Kante’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and there were rumors that Barcelona have been interested in signing him. However, recent reports suggest that negotiations between Kante and Chelsea have gone well, indicating that he is likely to remain with the club.
“I want to be part of Chelsea’s future, for sure. It’s an exciting project,” Kante said in an interview with Football Daily.
