The prospect of Hudson-Odoi donning the Nottingham Forest jersey has inched closer, with sources attributing Forest’s success in sealing the deal to the instrumental role played by their manager, Steve Cooper.
Cooper’s influence and rapport with the player have evidently borne fruit, stemming from their close collaboration during the remarkable conquest of the England Under-17s’ World Cup championship in 2017. This bond has reportedly been pivotal in convincing the 22-year-old winger to embark on a new chapter in his career with the Championship side.
Hudson-Odoi’s quest for consistent playing time led to a disappointing failed move to Fulham earlier this month. Eager to progress and fulfill his potential, the young star is keen on severing his longstanding ties with Chelsea FC, where he has honed his skills from an early age. Presently, his dedication to improvement is evident as he trains with Chelsea’s Under-21s team at their Cobham training base.
