Ajax has been known to not only be a top European club, but also a club that has produced quite a number of talents over the years.
Share:In recent weeks, attention has turned toward Ajax midfielder Kenneth Taylor, who is now in the sights of several Premier League clubs, according to a report from TEAMtalk.
At 21 years old, the defensive midfielder has garnered interest from notable teams such as Manchester City and Manchester United, alongside competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United.
While a January move appears unlikely, there’s speculation that Taylor may consider a transfer at the end of the season. Manchester United, in particular, could find him a valuable addition, addressing their need for a quality defensive midfielder.
The young player’s potential as a long-term replacement for Casemiro is evident, offering defensive coverage to the midfield and allowing for increased creative freedom.
Taylor’s reputation extends beyond Ajax, as he has already established himself as a key player and made his international debut with the Netherlands. Joining a prestigious club like Manchester United could further enhance his prospects at the international level, providing him with the opportunity to solidify his role as a key player for his country.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United, currently grappling with the absence of Sandro Tonali due to suspension, could also benefit from Taylor’s skills. The 21-year-old’s prowess as a quality defensive midfielder makes him an attractive prospect for the Magpies, offering a solution to their midfield needs.
