Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly eyeing Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva as their top target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

While there have been previous rumors linking Silva with a move away from England, Manchester City took proactive measures by renewing his contract last year, which is believed to include a release clause set at £51 million (€60 million).
Despite financial constraints potentially hindering Barcelona’s pursuit of Silva, PSG stands out as a strong contender due to their financial prowess, especially if they secure additional funds from a potential departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. According to reports, PSG coach Luis Enrique has given the green light for the club’s hierarchy to pursue Silva as a marquee signing.
However, the decision ultimately lies with Silva, who has spent seven successful years in England and appears to relish the challenges of the Premier League. Since joining Manchester City from Monaco in 2017, Silva has notched up an impressive tally of 62 goals in 334 appearances and has played a key role in securing 15 major trophies, including last season’s memorable treble.
It remains to be seen whether PSG’s interest and financial backing will be enough to sway Silva away from his current club and the league where he has thrived. Nevertheless, the prospect of a potential transfer saga involving one of Europe’s top talents adds intrigue to the upcoming summer window.
