One area that will undergo significant changes is the midfield. N’Golo Kante is set to move to Saudi Arabia, while talks are underway for permanent exits of Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Manchester City, Manchester United, and AC Milan respectively.
Additionally, Denis Zakaria has returned to Juventus following the end of his loan spell with Chelsea. Consequently, the club will need to secure high-quality midfielders to partner Enzo Fernandez.
Recent reports suggest that Chelsea may make a double swoop for two top Premier League players. According to 90min, the club are considering signing both Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Declan Rice from West Ham in the coming weeks, which would be a significant and impressive double signing.
Chelsea had previously attempted to sign Caicedo in January and have long been admirers of Rice, who has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal for the upcoming season.
