Sadio Mane will not be part of the squad for the competition and that will serve as a major blow for the Senegalese team considering how influential he is in the squad.

The player is now a major doubt for the World Cup as he limped off injured on Tuesday night as Bayern rained hell on Bremen.
Mane in a penalty shootout helped Senegal to their first AFCON trophy, beating Egypt earlier in 2022.
The National team await to discover their fate as Mane did go down for further treatments after limping off the pitch on Tuesday night.
