The 20-year-old winger has proven to be a formidable attacking force, amassing three goals and contributing to an additional 11 assists in the opening 21 games of the current season. Bakayoko’s prowess on the field suggests a promising future in the sport, making it a prudent move for Tottenham to secure his signature before he garners further attention.
Despite his youth, Bakayoko is already under contract with PSV until 2026. This contractual arrangement places the Dutch club in a comfortable position, with no immediate pressure to part ways with the talented winger.
Consequently, a potential transfer may be deferred until the summer window, given the lack of urgency on PSV’s part to sell their prized asset.
