The talented French forward, who has struggled to meet the towering expectations set upon him, reportedly finds himself lacking suitors this summer, raising doubts about his future at Old Trafford.
According to The Telegraph , Martial’s underwhelming performances and his staggering weekly wage of £200,000 have cast a shadow over his desirability in the transfer market. While the Red Devils remain hopeful of finding a suitable destination for the 26-year-old, the current dearth of interest comes as no surprise given his protracted dip in form.
Martial’s contract is set to expire next summer, which presents a precarious situation for Manchester United. To prevent the risk of losing him for free, the club would be wise to explore the possibility of offloading him this transfer window, thereby securing a valuable return on their initial investment.
The forthcoming months will undoubtedly witness Manchester United’s relentless pursuit of potential striking reinforcements. While details regarding their exact priorities remain shrouded in secrecy, it is evident that the club is actively exploring a myriad of options to bolster their attacking ranks.
