“Very odd”: Gary Lineker reacts as Leicester City’s “best player” didn’t get England call-up

LiveScore’s official Twitter account has questioned Gareth Southgate’s decision of not including Maddison in his team despite the Foxes star’s latest displays.

Lineker retweeted the post, claiming Maddison has been the best Leicester City player so far this season.

He wrote: “Very odd. James Maddison has been Leicester City ’s best player by a mile so far this season.”
