Roma’s Bryan Cristante is attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs, who look to strengthen their midfield.
Share:Initially, rumors circled around Tottenham Hotspur expressing keen interest in securing the services of the 28-year-old midfielder. However, recent reports from TV play indicate that Aston Villa and West Ham United have now entered the fray, intensifying the competition for Cristante’s signature.
Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery, appear to be in need of reinforcements in the midfield department, with summer signing Youri Tielemans falling short of expectations. Cristante, with his proven quality, could be a strategic acquisition for the West Midlands club, providing much-needed depth and options.
Valued at €30 million, the Roma midfielder seems to fit the bill for Aston Villa’s ambitions, backed by their strong start to the season. As they aim for Europa League qualification, securing the right players in the January transfer window could be pivotal for finishing the season on a high note.
Meanwhile, West Ham United, despite strengthening their midfield with Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse at the beginning of the season, are still in the market for additional quality. Cristante is perceived as a potential upgrade, offering a higher level of play in comparison to Tomas Soucek.
The situation surrounding Bryan Cristante’s future adds an intriguing layer to the upcoming transfer window, with Premier League clubs vying for his signature as they seek to bolster their squads and enhance their competitiveness in the league.
