West Ham United is reportedly open to letting Danny Ings go in the upcoming January transfer window.
Share:West Ham United appears to be open to the prospect of parting ways with striker Danny Ings, according to a recent report from Football Insider . This development is said to be driven by David Moyes’ desire to reshape the team’s attacking dynamics.
Despite his arrival from Aston Villa, Ings has encountered challenges at West Ham, managing only three goals in the past 18 months. The 31-year-old striker’s struggle to find consistent form has raised speculation about his future with the club.
As the winter transfer window approaches, it is anticipated that Ings will seek a new opportunity elsewhere, especially considering his limited playing time this season. The report suggests that clubs contending against relegation and those in the Championship vying for promotion are among potential suitors for the experienced striker.
While a move away from West Ham might mean a temporary absence from European football for Ings, it is suggested that his priority could be securing regular playing time, given his limited competitive minutes in the current season. This potential departure marks a significant development for Ings, who finds himself at a crucial juncture in his career.
