World Cup: Canada Dump Out Early Following 4-1 Loss Against Croatia
Canada will be playing their next match against Morocco just to fulfill all righteousness as they are already out of the competition.
Despite taking the lead against Croatia early into the game on Sunday, Canada still managed to end the day leaving the World Cup tournament.
An early goal from Alphonso Davies clearly angered Croatia into full force as they later responded in the 36th through a goal from Andrej Kramaric who finely converted Ivan Perisic’s assist.
Very close to the end of the first half, Marko Livaja provided Croatia’s lead as they headed into the break in front.
While Canada were still searching for an equalizer later in the second half, Andrej Kramaric came through with a brace to extend Croatia’s lead as he partners fine again with Ivan Perisic.
Lovro Majer netted the last goal of the night after coming on from the bench. Croatia now face Belgium on their next match with the Red Devils loss against Morocco placing them one leg off the World Cup.
